Spreading the Joy With EvenStart

It's no secret that 2020 has been a tough year for everyone. But if we have learned anything, it is the importance of community. We feel incredibly blessed to be a part of such an amazing one here in Calgary, despite being a big city the comradery and goodwill often make it feel like a small town. 

As we headed into November we knew that the holidays would likely look different for many families this year and we wanted to giveback to the community we love so much. To spread some holiday joy we decided to donate $1 from each pair of Christmas socks sold to EvenStart. EvenStart is a local charity dedicated to providing programs and services to at-risk children. These are children that have been victims of poverty, neglect, abuse, and domestic violence. Giving them these supports and services allows them to build a new future.

Because of your support we were able to donate $800 to EvenStart to build a holiday hamper for a family in need. Each year, EvenStart distributes hampers to the families they work with containing gifts, food, personal items, and gift cards so they are able to celebrate the holidays and start off the new year with everything they need.
